The vocational training in Germany has a very good international reputation. Many professions or jobs for which studies are required in other countries can be learned in Germany through vocational training. The Wetteraukreis also offers a lot of vocational training options.
- Vocational training in Germany
Dual vocational training usually lasts three years and ends with a final exam. Many professional courses are "dual training courses". This means that the trainees learn directly in the company and attend a vocational school/college on certain days. - Find the vocational training suitable for you
You can find most of the companies which offer a vocational training online. All you have to do is to enter your postal code to find something near the place where you live. You can find vocational training places for craft trades on the "Lehrstellenradar" of the chamber of crafts (Handwerkskammer). You can find vocational training places for most sectors (except craft trades and agriculture) through the chamber of industry and commerce (
Industrie- und Handelskammer.)
